CAFE
 
The cafe has two positions: Cafe Team Member and Manager on Duty (MOD).
 
Cafe team members and MODs are responsible for customer service, cashiering, cleaning, stocking, answering phones, handling food, communicating clearly with other departments, and other tasks as assigned.
 
MODs are cafe team members who have been promoted to MODs, and have additional responsibilities including doing inventory, providing advanced customer service, training team members, and ensuring that Hope's Way's strict customer service and cleanliness standards are met at all times.
 
CATERING
 
Catering consists of three components: caters, crew chiefs, and a catering management team.
 
Caters and the management team package non-food items for the event, load delivery vehicles, deliver corresponding items to events, set-up, serve, clean up, return items to Hope's Way, and other perform other tasks as assigned.
 
Crew chiefs assign caters, work with clients on-site, and ensure the event goes smoothly.
 
The management team oversees the process of catering, ordering appropriate equipment and servicewares, and schedules staff for events.
 
KITCHEN
 
The kitchen has a number of chefs and cooks who are led by the executive chef. They provide all food for the cafe and catering functions: cafe salads and sandwich ingredients, to go salads, to go entrees, baked goods, and customized catered events
 
DISH
 
Dishwashers do a lot more than wash dishes. They are also responsible for cleaning and maintenance, and often assist in other areas.
 
ADMINISTRATION
 
The administration team is led by the owner, Hope E. Rich, and handles catering inquiries, correspondence, payroll, human resources, customer service, and community outreach, and many other tasks.
